Units and groups are very dominant in A, they’re variations of layouts of small squares combining with larger ones. This clusters follows a strict orthogonal grid. But the large rectangle with a wide square opening at long edge (acting as a threshold) creates structural counterbalance to the composition. On the other hand, B follows a radial grid, main parts(floors) organized at periphery of circular grid, but they are introduced with hinges at right with a semicircular shape. The ramp element at ground floor acts as a threshold for the composition. These compositional/program differences mainly regulate the bodily experience and scenario. A is less transparent when compared to B and also experience provided by B is more promenade like than A. Repletion within the organization A provides more enclosed but more varied experiences, but for B, it’s a linear, continuous one provided with cyclic vertical movement, and can be stated as more dynamic.
